Peel & Seal®, manufactured by MFM Building Products, is the original low-slope, self-adhering waterproofing membrane, introduced to the market more than 30 years ago. This versatile membrane is ideal for not only low-slope roofing applications, but as a flashing tape wherever a waterproofing barrier is needed.

Peel & Seal® is a 45 mil, exclusive laminate of reflective aluminum foil, rugged cross-linked polymer films, and a thick layer of rubberized asphalt. Peel & Seal® is engineered to be exposed to the elements indefinitely and does not require any glues, adhesives or special fasteners to apply the product. The self-stick membrane is installed directly to the surface as a single-ply system for quick and easy installation. A high-quality release liner protects the product until use.

Peel & Seal’s reflective aluminum surface keeps internal temperatures cooler versus aluminized roof coatings, and helps to lower energy costs within the building structure by limiting solar gain. This innovative product is suitable for commercial and residential installations.

Peel & Seal® may be used anywhere a fast, dependable waterproofing barrier is needed. It is ideal for low-slope roofing, roof patching and repairs, flashing around exterior penetrations, gutter repair, metal roof seam flashing, and can also be used on trailers, mobile homes, RVs and sunrooms. For installation over EPDM, an MFM-approved EPDM primer is required.

Peel & Seal® only requires a sharp utility knife and roller for installation. As with any self-adhering product, rolling the surface to maximize surface contact is criteria for a successful installation. The lightweight product is easy to handle and stretches to allow for building movement.

Peel & Seal® is available in Aluminum, White, Almond and Granite Gray, and comes in seven roll sizes to match your specific application. It meets the requirements of ASTM D 1970, is Miami-Dade County Approved, Florida Building Code FL 11842 and 13025, ICC-ES ESR-1654, has a UL Class “A” Fire Rating, and Texas Department of Insurance RC38.
